Q. What is ShopMyNeighborhood™ (SMN)?
A. ShopMyNeighborhood is a premier fuel rewards program in which numerous Kansas City Merchants provide valued cents-off-per-gallon savings at Kansas City Circle K fuel centers. Membership is FREE!
Q. Where do I get my ShopMyNeighborhood Card?
A. ShopMyNeighborhood membership cards are available at all local Kansas City Circle K stores and participating ShopMyNeighborhood Merchants. Look for the SMN Merchant sign in store front windows.
Q. How do I register and why should I?
A. You may register your card online by going to www.ShopMyNeighborhood.com, or by calling our toll free customer service number at 1-877-433-4001. Registration is not required; however registered card members will receive additional benefits, such as automatic entry into special promotions every time you swipe your card (no purchase necessary), special notices on savings and promotions from your favorite SMN merchants, and the ability to earn rewards even if you forget your card, by using your phone number.
Q. How do I earn Circle K fuel rewards?
A. Purchase items at participating SMN Merchants and receive cents-off-per-gallon rewards for each qualifying purchase. Cents-off rewards accumulate with every qualifying purchase at all participating SMN Merchants.
Q. Is there a limit to the dollar value of Circle K fuel rewards that I can earn?
A. No. Only a time limit. Rewards are good for thirty (30) days from the date of earning each fuel reward.
Q. Is there a gallon limit on the number of gallons I can redeem my cents-off for at one time?
A. Yes. 15 gallons and the pump will stop. If you need more fuel, you may conduct another transaction immediately at the current fuel price. Only one automobile may be fueled per fueling.
Q. How can I keep track of my balance?
A. Easily. You can swipe your card at any participating SMN Merchant to reiceve a receipt with your current balance. If you've registered your card, then you can also check your rewards at www.ShopMyNeighborhood.com or call our toll free customer service number — 1-877-433-4001. Because of timing of when rewards are entered by SMN Merchants, your balance may not be current for 24 or more hours. However, be assured that all fuel rewards earned and entered will be available to you for redemption.
Q. What if I lose my card?
A. As long as your card is registered, call 1-877-433-4001, and we will issue a new card and transfer any balance that was remaining on the old card.
Q. Are all Circle K fuels included?
A. Yes. All three grades of unleaded gasoline: regular, mid-grade and premium are included, as well as diesel. Program limits are fifteen gallons of maximum redemption per fill-up using your cents-off.
Q. How long are my Circle K fuel rewards good for?
A. Thirty days. Our program has a rolling thirty-day life. On day thirty-one, the awards you earned on day one expire and so forth. We recommend that you use your accumulated rewards every time you purchase gas at Circle K. This will increase the likelihood that you won't lose rewards because they have expired.
Q. How do I redeem my Circle K fuel rewards?
A. Insert your SMN card at the pump and follow the instructions. The pump will indicate the amount of your savings and ask if you want to redeem them now. If yes, the pump price will roll back to your discounted price (you'll actually see it roll back to the lower price) and you'll save money on gas. The amount of savings per gallon and your total savings will appear on your pump receipt if you request one.
Q. What if my available Circle K fuel rewards are greater than the cost of fuel?
A. Circle K pumps will roll back pricing as low as 20.9 cents per gallon. If your cents-off balance could take the price lower than 20.9 cents-per-gallon, the price will be rolled back to 20.9 cents per gallon, whatever difference there is will remain on your card. For instance, if you have $3.00 in cents-off discounts and the price is $2.599, the pump will roll back to 20.9 cents per gallon and you'll still have 61 cents-per-gallon remaining on your account. The remaining balance on your account will have a 30 day life from the time of fueling.
Q. When I use my Circle K fuel rewards at the pump, does it consume the entire amount of the award?
A. Yes. When you press yes to redeem, it will roll back your price and hold that price for up to fifteen gallons. If you pump less than fifteen gallons your award has been used; if your tank holds more than fifteen gallons, the pumps will stop at fifteen gallons and not continue.
Q. Can I earn cents-off rewards at Merchant locations if I don't have my card?
A. Yes, but only if you have registered your card. If your card is registered you can use your registered phone number at the time of purchase to ensure you earn your fuel rewards. If your card is not registered, you will not be able to earn fuel rewards without the scan or your SMN card.
Q. What if the system is down when I make purchases of items subject to cents-off rewards?
A. Your account will still be credited with the awards amount. Even though it will not show on your receipt at the time, the software has the ability to store and forward transactions that occur during communications interruptions.
Q. Can I redeem my Circle K fuel rewards at the pump when the system is down?
A. No. If the pump communications software is down you will be unable to redeem your awards at that time. This happens infrequently and you may redeem your rewards at your next visit.
